Dagomar and Mattz have shown interest in designing a new BR.com layout.
Requirements from administration (okay, just Lucky) are:
- support minimum 1024*768 resolution
- compatible with FireFox 2.0 and IE7
- Page size: nothing big. Max title and menu of 250kb
- Hyperlinks: text links. CSS and javascript should set it up nice
- big concern is being able to add new navigation options easily.
- Clean CSS in finished design
No color scheme requirement, however old reports will require some sort of "legacy" black background for consistency, and CSS cannot interfere with this.
Recommendations:
- prototype everything. PhotoShop / GIMP are recommended
- first draft won't be the finished site, I guarantee it. You need to take criticism.
- Take suggestions from other BW sites.
- try not to say "battlereports.com" anywhere, instead say "BattleReports.com"
